Love | So what does it mean if you have a total solar eclipse on the day you were born? My friend has this placement at 29'55 Libra in the 3rd house. She wanted to know what it meant exactly...I just told her it sounds real good. LOL Anyone know? Thanks, Love |
pisces1234 | Its going to conjunct jupiter in my chart, so I would curious to know also. |
Love | Bump...? |
Azalaksh | Have you looked thru this thread?? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/010144.html There might also be some good reading in beebuddy's "Cool Links With Descriptions" thread for the natal eclipse situation..... |
astroleolady | Love, Your friend would be born under a new Moon (Sun conjunct Moon), which would be very potent at the anaretic degree of 29° and because there was a total solar eclipse on the day of birth. New Moon - when the transiting Sun and Moon are conjunct - a good time to start a new project as the Moon will be waxing (increasing in size). It is a time of internalization and focusing on the self. Full Moon - when the transiting Sun and Moon are in opposition to one another - a good time to complete a project as the Moon will soon begin waning (decreasing in size). It is a time of concentrating on external events and events beyond your control. A link to the New Moon in Houses and Signs: http://www.cafeastrology.com/newmooninhouses.html A link to the Full Moon in Houses: http://www.cafeastrology.com/fullmooninhouses.html Eclipses are more potent forms of new and full moons. A Solar eclipse is a new moon and a Lunar eclipse is a full moon. http://www.cafeastrology.com/lunationseclipses.html All About Moon Phases http://www.artcharts.com/learn_astrology/moonphases.html http://www.mooncircles.com/moonastrology/secret1.html http://www.astrologicallyspeaking.com/eightphases.htm 1. Love | Thanks guys! Yes, I actually did look through those threads, but I didn't see anything that actually discussed the significance of actually being born on the day of an eclipse. I'll have a look through the moon phase links to see what I can find. Unfortunately, the search function does not work for me...not sure if this is true for everyone. Love |
lalalinda | also important is to note which node is conjunct the Sun/Moon astroleolady |
Love | For my friend, it is the North Node which is conjunct her sun |
